NOTE: There are issues with delineating between the National Science Foundation and the National Science Foundation of China, but some cases are legitimate such as the paper “Upcycling of polyphenylene ether waste products to hypercrosslinked organic porous materials” which has both present (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.mtcomm.2023.105489). Some US funders are acknowledged for datasets and not specifically for funding so each publication should be reviewed thoroughly. If the filter doesnt respond, there is no data. The tool handles some misspellings and name variations of chinese entities with the goal of trying to track entities that match the 1260H list (like this example of the CETC name misspelling and variation https://doi.org/10.3390/s23167040).
